Eurochild and ISSA, co-leaders of the First Years, First Priority campaign, met with guests in-person at the European Parliament in Brussels. The event was hosted and chaired by MEP Dragos Pîslaru.
The aim of the event was to highlight the need to address poverty and social exclusion in early childhood, and to discuss ways in which the European Child Guarantee can ensure all children in Europe, especially the most marginalised, can access quality services and nurturing care from their earliest years.
The event was aimed at Members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials, European Parliament officials, Member States representatives, civil society organisations and the media.
