Description
The World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the Child Health Taskforce, hosted this orientation webinar on the new online IMCI training course. A flyer for the event can be downloaded here.
In an effort to increase access to high quality child health services and meet the demands for scaling up training of primary health care workers in Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), WHO has developed an online smart digital IMCI course. The course is another option for training nurses, clinicians and doctors managing sick children with common childhood illnesses at primary health care level. It can be accessed online on the WHO Academy Platform on various electronic devices (desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone).
In this webinar WHO introduced the new WHO Academy Platform and the online Smart dIMCI course for training health workers on Integrated Management of Childhood Illness.
The webinar was held in English with French interpretation.
