Description
Participants joined ARNEC and the ECCD Council of the Philippines in the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference on Early Childhood Development held in Manila, Philippines from July 1 to 3, 2025. Pre-conference activities were held a day prior on June 30.
The conference theme was: Advancing Equitable and Inclusive Early Childhood Development (ECD) Services: The critical role of effective local governance. It focused on:
(a) disability inclusion;
(b) gender equity;
(c) cultural and linguistic inclusivity;
(d) addressing poverty and geographic and urban-rural disparities; and
(e) crisis-responsive ECD systems.
