The first national capacity-building workshop on care for child development was organized by Ethiopia’s Federal Ministry of Health in collaboration with WHO, UNICEF, USAID, PATH and the African ECD Network.
The workshop prepared 15 master trainers to train 27 participants from federal and regional health bureaus, teaching institutions, development partners, NGOs and health care providers. The workshop concluded with a one-day session led by the Ministry of Health on programmatic implications. This was informed by findings from a national situational analysis.
