The Rise Institute, Portland State University and the Early Childhood Development Taskforce are hosting a series of three webinars on ECI challenges, with an aim to sharing innovations and ideas.
The second webinar in the series will take place on 16 June 2020 (10:00am EST), and will explore the impact of COVID-19 on national ECI systems. Specifically:
- What changes are occurring in national ECI Systems as they respond to the impact of COVID-19 and the needs of ECI programmes in each country?
- Have national ECI Systems maintained and expanded their budgets for ECI services?
- Have ECI resources been diverted to other national priorities? If so, to which ones and why?
- In order to protect and support children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families, what additional financial and technical support do national ECI Systems require from governmental, regional and international agencies?
