Momentum for integrating elements of the Nurturing Care Framework that support early childhood development (ECD) outcomes, such as responsive care and early learning, into existing health and nutrition services is growing. Sharing these integration experiences better supports practitioners to learn from and apply these approaches to their own context.

In this event the Child Health Task Force looked at three such examples:
1) the Nurturing Care Group Model, implemented by Support to the Productive Safety Net Program (SPSNP) II, a USAID-funded Resilience Food Security Activity in Ethiopia;
2) integration of ECD interventions with Transform Nutrition’s ongoing nutrition, sanitation, and hygiene activities in Mozambique; and
3) a psychosocial stimulation approach for children with severe wasting in Burkina Faso.
