CEPPs: The road ahead for ECD is clear

Childhood and Early Parenting Principles (CEPPs) has welcomed the launch of the Nurturing Care Framework and invited partners and supporters to take note. In discussing the Framework they say: “2018 is emerging as a year of convergence, with growing numbers of cross-sector partnerships and linked initiatives. Now with a comprehensive framework and implementation roadmap supported at the highest level, and case studies showcasing ‘what works’, the road ahead is clear.”

CEPPs followed this with an eblast on June 27, in which they announced a new partner: The International Council of Nurses (ICN). The eblast also stated that ICN will join hands with their partners the International Federation of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (FIGO) and the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) to inspire multi-sectoral ECD via health, and to complement efforts to roll out the Nurturing Care Framework at country level.
