Sort the Shapes - Toys for Life
Did you know that sorting shapes promotes the ability to analyze and classify objects?

To make shapes cut out geometric shapes, such as triangles, squares and circles of different sizes and colors, from cardboard, construction paper or foam. Place the geometric shapes in front of the child, explaining the names of each shape and color. Invite him/her to group them by shape, color or size and then to assemble imaginary or known objects, such as a house, a tree or animals.
