The video opens with a husband talking to the belly of his expectant wife. He reacts with amazement as he realizes that his baby is able to hear his voice (baby kicks). The video fast forwards to when the child is 2 years and 3 years showing at each age the child's language abilities as well as the caregivers continuing to promote their daughter's language development. The premise of the video is that the sooner we begin talking to the child the better. The more language the child hears the more language the child will be able to understand and use as she gets older, preparing her to do well in school.1.
