This 15-minute pre-recorded presentation was prepared by the World Health Organization for the International Conference on Early Childhood Development in Islamabad, Pakistan (February 2023). It explores three questions: i) What are the implications of emergencies for children's healthy growth and development?, ii) How do we ensure children receive nurturing care, even during an emergency? and iii) What resources exist to help those working in the health sector, globally and in the Eastern Mediterranean Region?
