This study completed by USAID Advancing Nutrition aimed to understand the current status of services in the health and social welfare sectors to promote optimal early childhood development (ECD) outcomes, explore the sustainability of promoting responsive care and early learning in mother-to-mother support groups in Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS), and identify opportunities to promote optimal physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development in early childhood. The final report on the study analyzes its key findings, including those around Ghana's positive landscape for strengthening support for ECD through both the health and social welfare sectors.
