The Inter-Agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) will hold an open virtual meeting entitled “COVID-19 impacts and responses on data collection, SDG monitoring and on vulnerable groups” on Tuesday, 2 June 2020 at 9:00 am EDT. On 12 May 2020, the Society for International Development held a virtual panel discussion with representatives from USAID, International Rescue Committee and PATH to explore how these organizations are using the Nurturing Care Framework in humanitarian settings, nutrition programs, and within the health sector – before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.


This ECDAN webinar focused on the ability of families and caregivers to recognise changes in behaviour among young children arising from prolonged periods of home quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the appropriate coping approaches for young children, as much as for the caregivers themselves.


This Spanish-language webinar will reflect on how COVID-19 has affected early childhood in Chile, Colombia and Uruguay, and look at various responses governments in Latin America are preparing to address the changing situation and to ensure that ECD goals continue to receive the necessary attention.
