Advancing country efforts for early childhood workforce development: ECWI's Home Visiting Workforce Need Assessment Tool

As part of the Early Childhood Workforce Initiative, the International Step by Step Association (ISSA) and Results for Development (R4D) describe a needs assessment tool that has been developed and piloted in Kenya and Serbia. The tool focuses particularly on personnel supporting home visiting programs delivered across sectors for pregnant mothers and caregivers with children under 3 (18 October 2019).

The Human Safety Net Global Networks Event
Over 100 participants implementing initiatives for families and/or newborns in 20 countries were introduced to the Nurturing Care Framework. During the session and throughout the 3-day event, they reflected on how to go about their work differently so they could promote nurturing care, work in partnership, and strengthen systems.
